Ms. Strambler is the proud Mother of a teenage daughter and two younger sons that she adores. Tiere’ always knew that she wanted to make a difference and she had a vision of just how she wanted to do that. Her vision was to prepare teenage girls for life after high school by equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful and safe. Realizing that there are no programs that exist like this, she made it her mission to make her vision a reality. Ms. Strambler took the necessary steps to start this non-profit program with her co-founders and family members, Kimberley Strambler and Kiki Strambler.
Kimberley Strambler, known as Kim was born and raised in Midland, Texas. She graduated from Midland Lee, attended Midland College where she later graduated with an Associates in Criminal Justice. Ms. Strambler then began working at the Midland County jail as a booking clerk and later promoted to a Jailer.
In 2013, Kim attended the Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy, where she trained to become a Peace Officer. She became the first African-American female deputy for the Midland County Sheriff’s Office. Ms. Strambler worked on patrol for 4 ½ years until she transferred to Courthouse Security where she had been working until recently. Kim now works as a school resource officer for Greenwood High School. Kim has a total of 15 years working in Law Enforcement and serving the community.
In the midst of it all, Ms. Strambler is raising her three beautiful children, ages 15, 12, and 8. She had a chance to speak at different community events and churches reaching our young people and would love to continue working with our youth. Kim’s love for helping and inspiring our youth lead her to link up with her family members Tiere’ Strambler and Kiki Strambler to create B.A.D.D (Beautiful And Dedicated Divas). Co-founding a program for young girls that will help with their self-esteem, financial planning for the future, self defense knowledge and so much more. We are excited for the program being that there is not a program of this type in our area and we get to do what we love, giving back to our youth.
